Thales UK and Connectr announced as Onboarding Strategy Finalist in In-House Recruitment’s 2022 Awards

Awards celebrate Thales’ successful use of Connectr to deliver a high-impact onboarding programme

Thales, in partnership with Connectr, has been announced as a Finalist in the In-House Recruitment Awards, under the Onboarding Strategy category. The kind of news we love to hear.

Connectr has proudly partnered with Thales for over 2 years, a global technology leader with more than 80,000 employees across 5 continents. We initially launched Thales’ personalised candidate platform to transform their preboarding experience for incoming graduate and apprentice talent, leading to an impressive 67% reduction in reneges.

Following our success, Thales extended their Connectr platform to seamlessly deliver their induction journey to future employees. The outstanding experience resulted in 100% of incoming talent taking part in their Virtual Induction Week, with a 95% task completion rate. Through Connectr, Thales’ new hires were excited and prepared to hit the ground running from Day 1.

Onboarding and mentoring

Our partnership involved designing and launching a bespoke candidate engagement platform, branded exclusively to Thales, that delivered a world-class experience through blending light-touch mentoring, upskilling content, events and forum communities.

Incoming hires received light-touch mentoring support from existing Thales employees as ‘Digital Buddies’ so they could envisage themselves in their new role, alongside drip-fed, digestible learning modules around company life and induction tasks. Digital events and forums enabled new starters to build a sense of community and excitement ahead of Day 1.

What’s more, Connectr’s live data reporting dashboard gave Thales crucial insights into user engagement and induction success, plus flagged any potential renege risks.

Thales’ platform provided candidates with a sense of belonging from the start, and a successful onboarding and induction programme for their talent team. Happy hires, even happier HR.

The success of the programme has led to our partnership entering its third year. We can’t wait to continue delivering great impact.
