Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how MyKindaCrowd Limited, trading as Connectr, uses and shares personal data of its customer- and other business contacts, prospects, visitors and users (jointly referred to as "data subjects" or "you") of websites and apps provided by Connectr (jointly referred to as "Connectr Services").
This Privacy Policy does not apply to the users of services provided to third parties where Connectr provides the platform or the technology to third parties and processes personal data on behalf of such third parties.
If the relevant information cannot be found elsewhere, e.g. from an employer's Privacy Policy, this Privacy Policy also applies in other situations where we process personal data.
The Connectr Services are hosted in the UK. We may transfer your data to a third country based on a valid transfer mechanism such as adequacy of data protection in the destination country, Standard Contract Clauses, or the UK extension of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Connectr uses commercially reasonable administrative, technical, personnel and physical measures to safeguard personal data in its possession against loss, theft and unauthorised use, disclosure or modification.
The Connectr websites are general audience sites. Where we act as the data controller, Connectr Services are generally not meant to be used by children.
From time to time, Connectr may modify this Privacy Policy to reflect the changes in our services, our practices, industry initiatives or changes in the law. It is therefore important that you review this Privacy Policy regularly to ensure you are updated as to any changes.
Why we collect your personal data?
Connectr processes personal data:
- as part of entering into and performing the contract with you or your company
- to perform market research and analytics
- to identify market leads
- for the purposes of direct marketing where the law allows us to do so
- to enhance our services
- to improve the website- and other Connectr Services performance
- for the purposes of cybersecurity and fraud prevention
The submission of special categories of data is voluntary and subject to consent, and the data subject is able to review and amend its preference as well as withdraw consent at any time. Where you have a Connectr profile this can be done by clicking on your profile you can make changes to your data/ consent. If you are participating in a service without an online profile, you can contact Connectr representative, or team@connectr.co.uk, to amend the information given. Removing consent will not affect the processing before such removal
What data do we collect about you?
We collect the following data pertaining to our business contacts:
- name,
- email address,
- phone number,
- company name,
- job title,
- correspondence / record of communications with us,
- your posts that relate to our product (e.g. they talk about a problem we solve)
- your sentiment about that company expressed on publicly available posts or sites,
- information on any events you attended based on information available via public sites and posts,
- information you provided through surveys
When you visit our website or other Connectr Services, we may further collect the following information:
- browser information,
- pages/content visited,
- your IP address.

Connectr may obtain some of the above data from a third party, such as a lead enhancer or a web analytics service.

Connectr's use and sharing of personal data
Connectr may share your data with storage, analytics, marketing, customer relationship- and other management services, single sign-on and cybersecurity, and communications providers.
There may be instances when Connectr may access or disclose personal data to: (i) protect or defend the legal rights or property of Connectr, our Affiliated Companies or their employees, agents and contractors (including enforcement of our agreements); (ii) protect the safety and security of Users of the Connectr Services or members of the public including acting in urgent circumstances; (iii) protect against fraud; or (iv) comply with the law or legal process. In addition, if Connectr sells all or part of its business or makes a sale or transfer of all or a material part of its assets or is otherwise involved in a merger or transfer of all or a material part of its business, Connectr may transfer your personal data to the party or parties involved in the transaction as part of that transaction.
Where you participate on a call, we may use third-party tools such as call or AI-based transcription providers. You should request the latter to be turned off if you intend to share any particularly sensitive information.
Where not necessary for the purpose, Connectr will aim to process the data in aggregate and, where possible, pseudonymised form.
Data retention
We generally aim to delete prospects' data 2 years after the last interaction. Research surveys and other research data will be stored by Connectr for no longer than 5 years.
Your rights
By the sending of an email to the following team@connectr.co.uk you may exercise the following rights:
- the right to obtain from the controller confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning you are being processed, and, where that is the case, access to the personal data
- the right to obtain the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning the user, including the right to have incomplete personal data completed; The right to rectify your data that is incorrect,
- the right of restriction of processing, where the data is wrongfully processed but should not be erased for a reason listed in Article 18 (1) UK GDPR;
- the right to erasure ('right to be forgotten'),
- the right to object to the processing based on our legitimate interest and for direct marketing purposes,
- the right to port your data.
Our newsletter is sent to you if you have expressed interest in our services. You have the right to object to such direct marketing immediately when you first communicate your email to us, by clicking an 'unsubscribe' link in any newsletter, or by emailing us at any time at team@connectr.co.uk .

- attach any relevant documentation.
We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint within 30 days. We will take appropriate steps to investigate and respond to your complaint, keeping you informed of the progress and outcome. This does not affect your right to complain to the Information Commissioner at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint
